Actually, the problem is not with 'xfonts-utils', it's with all the
things that call it with the new option (which was only introduced in
1:1.0.0-4) and don't depend on that version or higher being installed.

Just having 'xfonts-base' depend on 'xfonts-utils (>= 1:1.0.0-4)' should
be enough to cure the visible cause of the bug.
