Public bug reported: Binary package hint: ubuntu-docs
Received these error codes when attempting to download yesterday's six- file update for Lucid. The preceding major update appeared to cause a major grub error that killed my installation and continued to affect subsequent reinstallations until I tried installation on an alternative partition. Looks like something may have gone awry with the old MBR sector of a terabyte drive. I have been assuming local problems on my own part but I am starting to wonder if someone is being paid to hack the Ubuntu distribution system. Here are the reports from the update manager (and apt, I presume). No reply needed but I am curious to see what others think of this. The same update message popped up today. For the moment I am doing nothing about it. The messages are all identical save for the names of the files involved, I have NOT flagged this report as a security vulnerabilty (it might be one but not in the normal sense).
