Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: pulseaudio

I have a pair of Logitech V5 USB speakers connected (pretty much all the
time) to my laptop. They work well, and are controllable through
Pulseaudio's Sound Preferences window.

However, whenever I resume from standby, the speakers are always muted,
regardless of the state they had been in beforehand.

This problem also existed on Lucid.

I am standing by to provide further info if required.
