I have the same issue on a Macbook Pro 2,2. Does anyone know if people are working on this issue? I'm glad to contribute in any way possible. This bug makes it really hard for me to use my Macbook with Ubuntu on it when it's not plugged in. I'm glad to do whatever I can do to help it get resolved so that we all can be more productive on our Macbooks.
