Yep, it's definitely still an issue. I just tried causing the bug, with all
of the Lucid security updates applied (including linux-image-2.6.32-26-generic)
and was able to crash the kernel on my first attempt.

Unfortunately, I can't do that - I am currently travelling through the
Caucuses and only have a single netbook with me; I need to leave it running
Lucid.
