This is absolutly a bug! Before the upgrade all the links I had worked perfectly and now I need to change them to make them work. I also need to add my new-named partition on the 2nd drive (hdb1 before now sdb1) to /etc/fstab. This is not user-friendly! I know that Feisty is not finished yet but if this is what the users can expect when (if) they upgrade from Edgy to Feisty later on then I'm truely worried.
Some kind of message or some kind of thing that replaced hd with sd in /etc/fstab and not removed it would be nice... Maybe I'm not making myself clear, I don't know. I just know that this is slightly irritating. I hope someone fixes this, please. I will now add my partition to fstab, nothing hard but still not user-friendly. -- IDE-hdd detected as SCSI https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/103742 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
