Boatjones.

I don't think it's matter of hardware.. This fault occurs, as I said
before, in both laptop and desktop pcs of mine. Those pcs have nothing
in common.

The laptop is a toshiba portege M800
http://www.shls.com.gr/eng/product.asp?catid=2060

The desktop is a custom set:
cpu: Q6600
gpu: nvidia GTX260 216 core
RAM: 4 Gb DDR2 Gskill
Hard drives: 2xWD 320Gb,
                    1xWD 160Gb(ubuntu installed),
                    1xWD 150Gb VelociRaptor(windows installed)
Mobo: Gigabyte DQ6 x38

Technomage,

Is there anything you've updated before the 7th boot?

I've noticed that the problem came but to those who had ubuntu 10.04 (no matter
of kernel)...
I'm running ubuntu maverick 10.10 with kernel 2.6.35.23 and the problem didn't
come but after any update or restart...
