Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-input-evdev
When I am using evdev to control my (abnt2) keyboard (see the xorg.conf
section in the end), X crashes randomly while I am typing (usually when
I am typing fast). I have no problem with the traditional kbd driver.
I am using feity upgraded fro edgy a week ago and updated today. The
version of xserver-xorg-input-evdev is 1:1.1.5-0ubuntu1
If I start X from the console I get the following error on the screen (I
am copying by hand):
X: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/xorg/modules/input/evdev_drv.so:
undefined symbol: xf86OSRingBell
Let me know if you need any further information.
