Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: software-center
I just installed 11.04 Alpha 1 in VirtualBox running in OS X on a
Macbook Pro. I was able to run software-center once, browsed around, but
didn't install anything. A few minutes later when I tried to open the
application again, it wouldn't open, and wouldn't even give an error
message. So I ran it in a terminal and found out that it can't locate
the "software-center-agent.db" file. There is however a "software-
center-agent.db.tmp" file. Removing .tmp didn't work either, s-c
complained it wasn't a valid database. I've attached the software-
center.log file. So I was able to open it the first time, but not since
then.
Thanks,
JJ
