RE: Solution #151 So far it suspends / restores very reliable. Works on battery or A/C. Works for suspend or hibernate (which is slow and I don't intend to use). Suspends properly whether I close the lid or use the Suspend menu option. Restores properly whether I open the lid or use the power button. I have yet to figure any combination that doesn't work.
I'm running Ubuntu 10.10, 64-bit, 2.6.35-23 kernel on a Dell E6410, Core i7, Nvidia NVS 3100M, 5GB RAM. I had the exact same black screen on restore problem running the 32-bit.
