Binary package hint: udev
When I boot up Edgy knot 1 I get an error message which goes outside the
"writing box" and that stays there for the rest of the boot-time.
I get this error message because I have both installed kubuntu and ubuntu and
therefore have both KDM and GDM installed.
The error message is something like "GDM is not starting because it is
not the default windowmanager
