Public bug reported:
Hello,
My current Ubuntu version is Breezy 5.10.
I want to upgrade to Dapper 6.06, via Internet.
(info: I bought a valid CD of Ubuntu 6.06, but the manual install via
hacking of the sources.list seems wanting to remove a majority of my
software; e.g. evolution, firefox, etc ..., so I don't feel comfortable
to proceed in such circumstances; I want to do Internet upgrade).
So I launched the update-manager (I made sure to get the last version
before starting, i.e. 0.42.2ubuntu12~breezy2).
When launched, the update-manager analyses my system and says that it is
up-to-date and that a "New distribution release 6.06 LTS is available".
I pressed the Update button and the update started: it completed
successfully the 2 first steps, but aborted at the third step and
displayed the following window:
Title: none
Sign: red circle with white horizontal bar
Message title: Could not calculate the upgrade
Message content: A unresolvable problem occured while calculating the
upgrade. Please report this as a bug.
I have a screen capture if you want.

Is there a secure way to upgrade my breezy ?
Thanks in advance.
