After running readelf -a on various version of the executable I noticed
that the version created by doing objcopy -R do *not* contain the
GNU_RELRO type under Program Headers.

Is it possible that the GNU_RELRO program header is the reason I am
unable to get a backtrace when creating and then loading a core file
with gdb?

How do I compile an executable without the GNU_RELRO program header?
