I have a Dell Studio 1737 that has a problem with crashing. While trying to download updates for Ubuntu 10.10 the computer crashed (bsod). When the computer rebooted the desktop was completely blank. The only thing on the screen was wallpaper. I tried multiple times to reboot only to have the same blank screen. I had to completely reload the OS onto the computer in order to be able to use it.
