If you're speaking about the logo displayed during the boot, it is
normal (the xubuntu plymouth theme has a higher priority, otherwise it
would never show up, even on a normal xubuntu install).
If you don't like it, uninstall the 'xubuntu-plymouth-theme' package, or
set back the ubuntu theme manually, with the 'plymouth-set-default-
theme' command.
