Hi Daniel, Thank you. That certainly helped. Now, pulseaudio starts and my analog microphone works. But the USB based microphone (logitech cam) is still dead.
My daughter cannot use the analog microphone as it produces a lot of hiss and unusable for her homework. Any idea why the USB microphone is not working? Could you send me the original contents of /etc/pulse? ie., system.pa, default.pa, client.conf, daemon.conf? Or is there some other configuration that supports USB based microphone? Thanks again.
