Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: hal

Hi there.

I own an IBM T60P. My soundcard is not starting up. This is a problem which
came in some time ago. With 2.6.17 it still worked.
I've seen quite some othe people around with similar problems.

I checked with dmesg, lspci, and so on. Driver is loaded, card is
recognised.

While booting I am geting at kind of ezx timeout (This is even described
in the ALSA doc to snd-hda-intel.

I than tried to boot with pci=noapci, according to alsa doc. That didn't
work either.

I ran out of ideas. You might got one.

THX Klaus
