Thanks for letting us know that the crash has stopped happening.  I'll
mark this as fixed, but please feel free to reopen the report if the
crash happens again.

The "singularity" problem occurs when the fitting algorithm can't find
suitable fitting parameters to match your data.  When this happens, the
fitting parameters in the table are just given the values from the last
iteration before the algorithm fails... these will normally be
completely wrong!  If you use these values as the initial guess for a
new fit, then the algorithm will most likely fail again.
