I do not get the error message described in bug #562312, and I also tried an amount of persistent storage lower than the maximum available in the usb-creator. I'm pretty certain this is a different bug.
My minimal steps to reproduce were: - Create Live USB with any amount of persistent storage - Start Live CD - Immediately after if is fully booted choose restart -> Only a blinking cursor in the top left, booting does not continue The workaround is to power down the computer and then boot the LiveCD, instead of restarting from the LiveCD. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/659895 Title: Live USB installation of Ubuntu 10.10 does not boot a second time -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
