Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: command-not-found

I typed git to run "git, Linus Torvald's content tracker", which was not
installed. I was suggested to install "git" which installed "git, the
filemanager with GNU Interactive Tools" which is called gitfm in debian.

$ git clone git://anongit.freedesktop.org/git/mesa/drm

The program 'git' is currently not installed. You can install it by typing:
sudo apt-get install git
Make sure you have the 'universe' component enabled
bash: git: command not found

** Affects: command-not-found (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
