Public bug reported:

Since i don't need and don't use most of the indicator applet, i decided
to remove the chat and mail plugins from the indicator applet. upon
reboot i am prompted to enter a password. if i comply, i get a desktop
that isn't mine, i think it's root's desktop.

If i do not comply, i get no desktop at all.

I have absolutely no use for evolution, gwibber or empathy, so i don't
need them or the indicator applet plugins that go along with them.

Please help me with this.

(P.S. I did make a concerted effort to find this bug, but i could not,
if it is a copy of a posted bug, please point me in the right
direction.)
