Indeed, the bug was not present in ubuntu Lucid Lynx 10.4 and earlier. However, the bug does not appear on my HP laptop under ubuntu 10.10. The problem comes with Lenovo S10e (and others, I guess). As for emacs, I also see problems in the contextual menu (copy option is not active and others)
