I TOTALLY AGREE. I am now very "gun shy" of using Wubi. It burned me last time. Something went terribly wrong starting w/10.4 regarding the wubi installer. Initially, the ubuntu bug team said that they didn't see any problem and even closed my bug report as being invalid. Then I started getting emails from other wubi users who experience either same thing or something very close. It will be a long time before I venture to try wubi again. Thx. for your email. I take comfort in knowing that I wasn't just "imagining" all of this. The bug is real.
