Well, boot your stock Lucid kernel and run apport-collect from there.
Furthermore, you should be getting the Maverick backported kernels from
the archive by installing linux-image-generic-lts-backport-maverick. If
you're still having problems, then try adding 'pci=noacpi' to the grub
boot command.
