Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: scim

Dear Mr. Mark Shuttleworth and the respected colleagues of Mr. Mark,

I have been using Ubuntu for more than 6 months.
It is a very good product on Asus L2000E laptop.
Currently, i use Openoffice 2.2.0 and Firefox most of the time.

I look forward to applying more useful features of Ubuntu in my daily usage.
But the SCIM that i use still show Copyright 2002-2004 by 苏哲. Is this the
latest version? or is it the most stable version?
Sometimes i use SCIM to type Chinese character.
Now, I am a lecturer in Almacrest International College (ACIC).
I could not understand and explain to my colleague when Ubuntu cannot print via
network using HP Laserjet 1020 connected to a desktop with Windows XP.
I have the IP and printer name of the computer and printer respectively.
i will be using Openoffice presentation soon. Ubuntu with Fluxbox is very
responsive and fast.
Is there any good GNU database to store student database with Ubuntu because i
am using Openoffice Calc to do so now? And this is quite tedious.

I am now in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia.
How Ubuntu can help in a PETE bottle recycling factory as my family will be
owning a factory soon.
HP Deskjet F380 All-in-one can print very good in Ubuntu. If the rendering
engine in browser could have been better, i will not be forced to use Opera and
IE in my desktop on the ground floor at home. Sorry.
Opera can zoom for printing and IE does not have such function IF i am not
mistaken. (I am not an IT undergraduate)
But Opera is not "as open and free as" Firefox.
I use it to print machinery website from www.bo-re-tech.com for my family. But
strange pages rendering came out.

I am using Feisty Fawn Herd 5 but i update and dist-upgrade most of the
time.

Thank you.
