An associate just attempted to plug in and install a MFC-295CN Brother printer.
He plugged in the USB cable and nothing happened. The drivers are available and I stepped him through installing them. >From what I could see however, all of the code is GPL'd and there are no binary blobs, so I am wondering if there is something wrong here. Should this printer not auto configure and set up as with the other supported printers?
