Well, this is already a known issue with nm-applet (design decision,
some work is in progress upstream to fix it). I *know* there is a
duplicate (and probably many others) for it that I use as a master bug,
but I just can't find it for now ;)
Marking as Wishlist, it's going to get done accidentally for NM 0.9, but
if someone has time to properly implement handing off the session
bus/service on user switch, it could be added as a patch -- just look at
the NetworkManager mailing list for the details, since this has already
been discussed a lot.
