Binary package hint: emacs23
In the emacs menu some options appear permanently disabled. For example,
if within a buffer a region is marked to be copied , it is impossible to
do this from the menu because the option "Edit -> Copy" is permanently
disabled. This also applies to "Edit -> Undo", "Edit -> Cut", "File ->
Save", etc.. See attached image.
