Hi, nope, afaik I used the beta named as ubuntu-7.04-beta-desktop-i386.iso,
i tried 3 times and it didn't work. nevertheless i tried alternate and with the text installer (no live cd) it worked flawlessly. Although it didn't use the merge module. I'm sorry but right now I would rather not reinstall the whole system, maybe someone else encounters this problem. Ah, one thing, when the merge tool didn't find anything to merge it also summarized (right before the install starts) that it found WinXP but but nothing to merge, ... like that: ... ... Windows XP Professional: Merge: None .. ... I cant remember the exact words, but this confused me a little bit since I had miranda, thunderbird, firefox and others on the win OS.
