Hi, Daniel. How to get the compile environment set in order to install the latest ALSA driver? Please be detailed I'm a new user of Linux system. I'm running Ubuntu 10.10. Since the alsa folder changed location, I followed this guide below but no luck. http://monespaceperso.org/blog-en/2009/05/09/upgrade-alsa-1020-on-ubuntu-jaunty-904/ B.t.w. this system seems cannot identify my touchpad correctly, the scrolling function isn't working and there's no trackpad Tab in the System-Preferences-Mouse. How to make it working as on Windows? Thanks for ur reply.
