update: if it helps, this laptop is also affected from the bug #88546 (headphones jack doesn't mute speakers) and of curse #94566 which were solved by a kernel patch (which i have not tested yet)... i can say that the touch-pad blocker button and next-prev-pay/pause buttons neither works after resuming from hibernate, and that the sound is available from the headphones. i'm going to try now doing a sleep-wake up... but i really thing this has to be something to do with the related bugs i cite.
