Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: compiz

I'm using Ubuntu Feisty Fawn beta with radeon driver in LiveCD mode.
Hardware 3D accelerating is supporting in this driver - when I type
glxinfo | grep direct, stout of this command tells "direct rendering:
Yes". When I try to turn on desktop effects, they will be enabled, the
wobbly and zoom plugin works, but contents of all windows (such as
Terminal, Firefox and Nautilus) is not visible. The desktop cube is not
working too. I can't do anything to disable desktop effects, I must to
reboot my computer. I suspect that the problem is in video card driver -
but the desktop effects on other distributions (such as Fedora Core)
working correctly.
