Public bug reported:
When using the armel cross compiler shipped with Ubuntu Maverick (both
4.4 and 4.5) to cross compile some applications for ARM platforms, the
linker cannot use the rootfs specified with --sysroot option (this
rootfs holds header files and libraries copied from ARM system), and
following error message is printed out:
arm-linux-gnueabi-gcc -I/home/jammy/efika-rootfs/usr/include
-L/home/jammy/efika-rootfs/usr/lib --sysroot=/home/jammy/efika-rootfs -o
xwindow xwindow.c
/usr/lib/gcc/arm-linux-gnueabi/4.4.5/../../../../arm-linux-gnueabi/bin/ld: this
linker was not configured to use sysroots
