They certainly look complete, and I've used them to build kernels in the past.
@Andy - since /proc/config.gz works on other platforms, which don't ship configs in /boot, might it be worth enabling /proc/config.gz anyway for the sake of portability? If not, how about a compromise - add it as a symlink to the file in /boot?
