Please boot without quiet, splash, or nomodeset; dmesg should print to the screen and might show an error. Afterwards, if it still black- screens, see if you can switch to a tty with Ctrl+Alt+1 and capture the output of dmesg and /var/log/Xorg.0.log and upload them (i.e. 'cat dmesg > dmesg.txt' and 'cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log > Xorg.0.log.txt; they'll be in your home directory).
