Public bug reported: Binary package hint: cdrdao
I'm trying to burn an audio CD on a CD-RW medium as a super user. The process fails as described below. $ cat cd CD_DA TRACK AUDIO AUDIOFILE "file.wav" 0 # cdrdao write --device /dev/scd0 --speed 1 cd Cdrdao version 1.2.3 - (C) Andreas Mueller <[email protected]> /dev/scd0: HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-T50N Rev: RE05 Using driver: Generic SCSI-3/MMC - Version 2.0 (options 0x0000) Starting write at speed 10... Pausing 10 seconds - hit CTRL-C to abort. Process can be aborted with QUIT signal (usually CTRL-\). Turning BURN-Proof on Executing power calibration... ERROR: Power calibration failed. ERROR: Use option --force to ignore this error.
