I think this is a problem related to the fact that there are two types
of indicator; the volume/screen brightness, etc indicator that appears
at the top of the screen; and everything else which appears below this.
The problem is that there is only single instance of each of these
types of indicator allowed to be active at any one time. I believe it
would be a lot better if the indicators were allowed to stack themselves
so that more than two indicators may be visible at any one time.
