Hi guys, I'm facing a similar issue but I don't do the same workaround. I own a USB HDD formated with HFS+. My use case is typically to copy some files on the disks which is normally plug in my tv set top box.
The test case: - mount the HDD on a mac - copy some files -> it works - unmount it - mount it in Ubuntu - use sudo to copy some files -> it works - unmount it - mount it again in Ubuntu - use sudo to copy some files -> KO, the partition is still read only Workaround: mount/unmount it again on a mac and then back to Ubuntu and it works. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/633627 Title: hfs partition not cleanly unmounted -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
