The error in the upgrade log is:
update-rc.d: /etc/init.d/nfs-kernel-server: file does not exist
This indicates that the init script has been manually removed from your
system, and as such, is not an Ubuntu bug. To restore the init script
to its expected place, run: 'sudo apt-get purge nfs-kernel-server; sudo
apt-get install nfs-kernel-server'
