Public bug reported:
Upon pressing logout, the screen turns black but the login screen does
not appear. The monitor detects a signal, but nothing is displayed. I
am unable to switch over to any shells. I must manually reboot the
entire system to return to a working system. This occurs every time I
try to log out.
