I had the same problem just now when closing ekiga 3.2.7 on Ubuntu 10.10 when connected to an ekiga session on another pc running 3.2.6 on Ubuntu 10.4. Both are on the same network.
I closed 3.2.7 and 3.2.6 crashed (then apport did his job).
