Hi

It had been a long time since I had powered up my linux box. When I got
it running it had to do a partial upgrade -- which I think was a left
over from before because the ethernet cable wasn't plugged in before
that dialog popped up.

Then it rebooted and indicated that there was a major version upgrade to
do.

This all happened from within the desktop environment.

There was at least one other partial update to be done after the major
install.

Seems to be happy enough now, but I haven't been doing too much since
everything got patched up to date.
