Same or similar panic happens on Linux VPCCW1FFXL 2.6.37-11-generic #25-Ubuntu SMP Tue Dec 21 23:42:56 UTC 2010 x86_64 GNU/Linux when booting normally.
To work around this I can go in recovery and use "root prompt with networking" and then issue "gdm" at the root prompt, using this I can get an usable desktop and no kernel panic. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/693828 Title: Fatal exception in interrupt: Kernel panic on 2.6.37-10-generic -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
