Public bug reported:

I'm using an HP nx6325 with a synaptics touchpad and the latest version
of`fesity fawn' (fully updated as of April 8, 2007). Sometimes the mouse
cursor locks itself to the top-left corner of the screen. There is no
way I've discovered to get the touchpad working again accept to reboot.
I've been working around the problem by connecting a USB mouse when the
problem occurs - as long as I'm using the USB mouse the cursor works
normally though if I disconnect it the cursor again locks to the top
left corner of the screen.

I don't believe that this is a problem with the touchpad as this is
dual-boot system which also runs Windows XP Pro and I never have this
problem with the touchpad in Windows.
