The problem is still the same as originally reported.
No virtual machines, just a regular Xubuntu 10.10 installation on hardware,
fully up-to-date with updates.
OpenOffice reports the following version:
OpenOffice.org 3.2.1
OOO320m19 (Build:9505)
ooo-build 3.2.1.4, Ubuntu package 1:3.2.1-7ubuntu1
A separate hardware machine running Xubuntu 10.04 (with all updates) behaves
correctly and does not have this problem.
The OpenOffice version details on this machine are:
OpenOffice.org 3.2.0
OOO320m12 (Build:9483)
ooo-build 3.2.0.10, Debian 1:3.2.0-7ubuntu4.1
The two "apport information" items preceding this post are from these two
respective machines.
