better. In October of this year I successfully compiled VirtualBox-OSE
3.2.10 from source in Maverick (~kernel 2.6.35-22.33) following the
instructions found at
http://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Linux%20build%20instructions. Despite
this, if you insist on compiling new(er) versions of VirtualBox on old
kernels, feel free to link the upstream bug about this issue found at:
http://www.virtualbox.org/query?status=new&status=assigned&status=reopened&host=Linux&order=priority
or if not found create a new upstream bug via
http://www.virtualbox.org/newticket and toggle this bug's Status to
Confirmed.
