So for me, the temporary solution pending the release of a patch,
Remove 3 maverick packages, and downgrade to Lucid versions :
acpi-support_0.136.1_amd64.deb
finger_0.17-13build1_amd64.deb
pm-utils_1.3.0-1ubuntu2_all.deb
(Need to block the version in Synaptic).
And no more freezes now !
