Binary package hint: vlc

Whenever I play a video, whether in VLC or in Movie Player, the image is
garbled and looks like it's playing in negative.

I'm attaching a screenshot showing VLC playing a video I downloaded from
the net. Next to it you will see the same video being played inside
Chrome, without the same problem.
