With 2.6.35-24.42:

Following https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingKernelSuspend (i.e. echo 1 >
/sys/power/pm_trace), the CMOS time doesn't seem to be reset to a debug
value upon boot after hang/power-cycle (the time is still exactly
correct), so I think any "hash matches" message is invalid. I think
reading that page, pm_trace only debugs failures resuming from a
successful suspend, not issues actually suspending?

Following https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingKernelSuspendHibernateResume
(i.e. booting with no_console_suspend, and suspending from text mode
using pm-suspend), the symptoms of the hang are identical, and I don't
see any kernel log spew from the hang.
