Rory McCann thank you for reporting this bug and making Ubuntu better.
In Maverick, if one opens a new OOo Writer file, typed [email protected]
then hit enter on the keyboard, the e-mail address becomes a hyperlink
and is ignored by the spell checker. However, having the option for the
spell checker to ignore non-hyperlinked e-mail addresses is a good one.
The next step is to link an upstream bug to this one found searching
http://www.openoffice.org/issues/query.cgi or if not found create an
enhancement request via
http://www.openoffice.org/issues/enter_bug.cgi?component=Word%20processor
